Panchayat Capacity Building & Training Programme – Tripura
Bharat Initiative Foundation, in collaboration with the Rural Development (Panchayat) Department, Government of Tripura, conducted a two-day capacity-building programme for Panchayat representatives and officials in Agartala. The programme focused on strengthening grassroots leadership, participatory planning, digital governance, welfare delivery, rural livelihoods, cultural heritage and sustainable Panchayat development.
The programme
Effective local governance
Held as a two-day capacity building and training programme on effective local governance, the sessions brought together elected Panchayat representatives and officials from every district. The work sat under the theme of strengthening grassroots governance for inclusive development, at the State Panchayat Resource Centre in Agartala.
